Steptiles are roll-formed from pre-painted aluminium coil to the exact run length of your roof, so a slope can be covered in one sheet with no end laps to leak. The stepped profile adds rigidity across the width, which means the sheet carries loads well between purlins and resists the drumming and oil-canning you get from thinner flat products.
We produce steptiles in a range of gauges to suit residential, commercial and industrial spans, and in the full colour range you can see in our coil store. Every order is cut to your measured lengths and delivered with matching ridge caps, valley gutters, flashings and fasteners so the roof goes up as one system.
Because we hold our own coil and run our own forming line at Idu, we can quote a colour and a gauge and then actually supply it, rather than substituting whatever happens to be in the yard. If your project is phased, we can hold the same coil batch so the second delivery matches the first.
