Stone coated aluminium sheets

Bond Tiles

The most forgiving stone-coated profile to set out, and the one that looks best across a large, simple roof plane.

Bond's pattern is regular and evenly banded, which makes it easy to line up against ridges, valleys and gable ends. It is a strong choice for large, simple roof planes where an irregular tile shape would show every small deviation in the framing underneath.

On an aluminium substrate the tiles are effectively immune to the rust problems that shorten the life of cheaper steel roofing in coastal and high-humidity locations. The stone surface holds its colour, deadens rain noise, and reflects enough heat to make a measurable difference to the temperature in the rooms below.

Where a building has both a main roof and a run of outbuildings, Bond keeps them reading as one project without demanding perfect carpentry on the secondary structures.
